How can I live more sustainably in day-to-day life?
This question makes us happy! There are many ways big and small you can live more sustainably in day-today life.

  • Reduce food waste

Composting is a great way to reduce food waste and add nutrients to your garden. You can also try eating less meat or incorporating one meat-free meal per week.

  • Recycle

Recycling reduces the amount of waste in landfills, saves energy, and helps conserve resources.

  • Save water

Run your dishwasher only when it's full, and adjust your thermostat to avoid overusing your HVAC system.

  • Use sustainable products

Choose sustainable cleaning and beauty products made from plant-derived ingredients. Choose reusable substitutes for single use items, like Swedish Dishcloths instead of paper towels.

  • Grow your own food

Growing your own food reduces your ecological footprint on water, fuel, and pesticides.

  • Reduce energy consumption

Turn off lights when you're not using them.

  • Consume less

Buy second-hand, borrow, and reuse things more.

  • Support environmental causes

Support sustainable businesses, vote, and research companies with strong sustainability values.
